Red Spot Partners up with Aurora to Assist Area Homeless.

11/22/19 – (Evansville, IN) Every year around the holidays we partner up with an area organization. This year we partnered with Aurora. Aurora, located in Evansville, Indiana is a non-profit whose mission is creating solutions to prevent and strive to end homelessness in the community. As part of their outreach, teams travel each week to set locations to give out supplies such as food and hygiene items to the homeless. We are excited to announce that thanks to our very generous Red Spot family, we collected enough to prepare 200 care kits for the homeless. Each bag contains: bottled water, Vienna sausages, fruit cup, applesauce, tuna packet, crackers, granola bar, slim jim, pair of socks, hand and feet warmers, and a spoon. Red Spot Volunteer Program Donates $5000 to "It Takes a VIllage Canine Rescue"

03/22/18 – (Evansville, IN) – As we celebrate our 115-year anniversary we are looking to giving back to organizations in our communities through our Red Spot Volunteer Program (RSVP). Our first quarter theme was Environmental/Safety/Animal organizations. Employees across the US nominated several organizations that they would like the Company to make a $5,000 donation to. Employees voted and the winner of the $5,000 donation was It Takes a Village Canine Rescue!

It Takes a Village Canine Rescue is an Evansville non-profit organization helping to provide a safe haven for abandoned dogs and find permanent loving homes for them. Their mission is, “To work as one in helping homeless dogs irrespective of breed, location or circumstance.” Although they do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, they have a particular interest in helping bully breeds, black dogs, dogs with medical needs and other “hard-to-place” dogs. They are a mostly volunteer, no-kill canine rescue and this donation will help them immensely. Please visit to learn more about this organization
